These companies are run by Dr. Rajan Lekhraj Mahtani, a noted businessman and philanthropist from Zambia. Dr. Mahtani has established companies not only across Zambia but also in other nations such as the United Kingdom. However, he is more popular for his charitable acts and his participation in sustainable programs and environment-related campaigns are significant. As such, he is also popular among his enemies who are either jealous of his growing popularity and want to see him fall down or people who have developed hatred as a result of his honest business dealings, leaving no room for illegal activities or corrupt schemes under his belt.

Dr. Mahtani’s charitable and developmental acts are well known. His companies such as Finance Bank of Zambia have been awarded many times for their charitable and developmental works for the underprivileged commoners of Zambia. Recently, the Secretarial from Prison Fellowship International released a press release thanking Dr. Mahtani for his charitable contribution which resulted in the success of this year’s African Summit (2017). The press release clearly states that the AFPFZ (African Forum of Prison Fellowship Zambia) 2017 was sponsored by Dr. Mahtani. This generous gesture helped the success of the Summit as well as helped in uplifting the growth status of the nation. Also, Dr. Rajan Mahtani was praised by almost all attendees of the Summit.

It clearly indicates that Dr. Mahtani is only focussed towards development and honest work, unlike his enemies who are always plotting some schemes to see his reputation fail.  

Final Judgment Awaited From Lusaka High Court, Dr. Mahtani Eyes Big Win

The Lusaka High Court, which is dealing with the case between Dr. Rajan Mahtani and the Ventriglias on Zambezi Portland Cement, reported another development. According to the judge taking care of this case, the case is relatively finished and last judgment will be given soon. This is, in reality, a huge relief Dr. Rajan Mahtani who propelled this argument against the Ventriglias over nine years back. In the meantime, the Ventriglias are in a dim state as they are aware that once a final decision is made by the judge, they will have to hand over the rights of Zambezi Portland Cement to its rightful owner.

This court fight began nine years back when the Zambezi Portland was unlawfully assumed control by the Ventriglias. The production line was controlled by Dr. Rajan Mahtani before this illegal takeover, who cases to be the genuine proprietor. To demonstrate his claim, Dr. Mahtani has submitted different confirmations, archives and exhibits throughout the years. One of the greatest confirmation submitted was the consented to investor arrangement which obviously showed that he held 58 percent shares at the Zambezi Portland Cement. Besides, a review report directed by an autonomous reviewer unmistakably shows that the Zambezi Portland was kept running in the joint-wander organization and Dr. Mahtani has been the main JV (joint-venture) partner. Together with his dominant part shareholding, he is the lawful proprietor of the industrial facility.

While the Ventriglias have commonly attempted to ruin Dr. Mahtani, they have flopped wretchedly each time. The court will be giving its final judgement soon.  

News Breaks Nationwide When FIC Discovers Mass Money Laundering Racket

The Zambian nation came to a complete meltdown when the FIC (Financial Intelligence Centre) discovered a mass money laundering racket going on across the nation. Worse, the list of names involved in this illegal racket includes the names of some prominent lawyers from Zambia. And it also contains the name of the official lawyer of the Ventriglias, Sakwiba Sikota.

While corruption and illegal activities are common across this nation, the list reveals the level of criminal activities by top officials working in esteemed positions. OMM Banda has topped this list of illegal money launderers. He is a lawyer from Avik International, the noted law firm in Zambia. He has been accused of laundering money to Edgar Lungu, a notorious Zambian dictator. At the same time, Edgar has been defending himself by forcing that the money in his account is for various government contracts. Since the money involved is in millions, the intelligence center is taking no chances and probe has been started in these cases.

Among the law firms caught in these acts of illicit money laundering activities is Central Chambers, a firm whose owner is Sakwiba Sikota. The list itself is astonishing as it has many prime and notable lawyers as well as accountants working in private and public sector companies. However, Sikota’s name is not as shocking as he has been previously linked with various illicit and unlawful activities in the past. This also highlights the kind of relationship the Ventriglias keep.

The FIC has announced that it will share details of its investigation as and when any new update emerges. At the same time, it has become an urgent uphill task for the government to take actions against the guilty.  

Lusaka High Court Finally Clears Zambezi Portland Case, Gives New Direction

After a wait of almost ten years, the Lusaka High Court provided the final hearing for the Zambezi Portland Case and gave a new direction to the court proceedings to finish the case soon. This indeed is a good news for Dr. Mahtani and team. However, the Ventriglias who launched a counterclaim is not very happy with the announcement. Once Dr. Rajan Mahtani wins this case, the Ventriglias will have to give up Zambezi Portland Cement, which is under their capture for the past nine years.

During the course of the case hearing, Dr. Rajan Mahtani and his company have submitted various evidence and statements to support their claim. Some of these included signed shareholder agreement, by all parties including the Ventriglias. This agreement clearly states that Dr. Mahtani holds 58 percent shares at the factory, making him the majority shareholder. Various financial exhibits further claim that Dr. Mahtani and his companies have invested over USD 8 million dollars for the growth and development of the factory. Another important document submitted was the audit report conducted by an independent auditor on the factory. As per this audit report, Dr. Mahtani is the sole joint venture partner of the establishment which was started as a joint-venture project.

It is surprising to see that even after such strong evidence from Dr. Mahtani’s team and no strong evidence from the Ventriglias; the court has not been able to provide any final judgment. Things are expected to turn when evidence from both sides will be submitted 

Fight For Zambezi Portand Cement Still Going On

Even though Lusaka High Court which is handling the case between Dr. Rajan Mahtani and the Ventriglias has announced that the case hearing is closed, the final judgment will take some more time.  The case is for the legal ownership of the Zambezi Portland Cement which has been illegally taken by the Ventriglias. The case is being held at the High Court for almost nine years now. 

Dr. Rajan Mahtani is a noted businessman & industrialist, who have gained popularity and respect as a result of his dedication and honest work. His companies such as Mahtani Group of Industries and Finsbury Investments are some of the top companies in Zambia. He has also successfully established companies across foreign lands such as in United Kingdom. In spite of these great achievements and contribution to the Zambian nation and its people, he is constantly targeted by conspirators.  Various interviews with the ex-workers of Zambezi Portland Cement indicated that the factory was booming under Dr. Mahtani’s leadership. Workers were paid well and production was surplus. However, the condition of the factory is exactly opposite now. Majority of the workers have been laid off and the rest are working without any guarantee of payments. Even after these situations, the Ventriglias have gained a stronghold on the factory. 

As per the judge handling this case, the case hearing is closed and both parties have been given time till December 2017 to provide oral as well as written submissions which includes there latest evidences, facts, exhibits and other statements. After evaluation of these submissions, the judge will provide a final date for judgement.

New Hope For Dr. Rajan Mahtani, Announcement On Zambezi Portland Soon

Dr. Rajan Mahtani gets new hope in the Zambezi Portland Cement case as the judge currently handling this case at the Lusaka High Court announced that the case hearing is closed and final judgement will be announced soon. Dr. Rajan Mahtani has been working dedicatedly in Zambia for many decades and with dedication and honesty, he has been able to build his empires from scratch. His companies are famous not only in Zambia, but also across various developed nations such as the United Kingdom. Some of his companies are Mahtani Group of Industries and Finsbury Investment. He is also the ex-chairman of Finance Bank Zambia and was the sole owner of Zambezi Portland Cement before it was illegally captured by the Ventriglias. 

Since then, a case has been launched at the Lusaka HC against the Ventriglias and this case has been going on for almost 10 years without any progress. During the case proceedings, Dr. Mahtani’s lawyers have shared various evidences and facts that prove his 58 percent share at the factory. Finsbury Investments which is under Dr. Mahtani, have submitted a shareholder agreement signed by all concerned shareholder. Furthermore, his total investments in the factory’s growth and development are more than USD 8 million, excluding his full payment in the Zambezi share capital. Important evidence is the independent audit conducted by an independent auditor which confirms that the factory was established under joint venture partnership and Dr. Rajan Mahtani is the sole joint venture partner with majority shared. 

It is expected that both parties will be submitting their evidential submissions by December 2017 and after evaluation of these submissions, final announcement will be made.

New Update On Pending Case Of Zambezi Portland Cement

The Zambezi Portland Cement, whose case was pending at the Lusaka High Court for the past nine years, received a new update. The judge handling the case announced that the case hearing has been closed. However, final judgment date is yet to be announced. The case is between Dr. Rajan Mahtani and the Ventriglias family over the shareholding and ownership of the cement factory.

Both parties have contended that they have the rightful shares and ownership of the factory. The case was first registered by Dr. Mahtani after the factory was taken over by the Ventriglias by force. After that counterclaimed was launched making it a full-blown case. Both parties have been submitting evidence and facts to prove their claims. Preliminary investigation suggests that claims and evidence submitted by the Ventriglias are nowhere close to those shared by Dr. Mahtani. It is also important to note here that the cases were launched in the names of Finsbury Investments Limited under Dr. Rajan Mahtani and Ital Terrazzo Limited, a private limited firm with the Ventriglias as the sole beneficiaries. As per the claims and evidence, Finsbury Investments holds 58 percent shares and the rest is divided among various shareholders as well as the Ventriglias family. This claim has been substantiated by shareholder agreements and various exhibits. Furthermore, it has also been claimed that the factory was run under joint venture partnership with Dr. Rajan Mahtani as the sole joint-venture partner with the highest share. This claim was further substantiated by audit reports by independent auditors as well as signed exhibits.

At the same time, the Ventriglias have not been able to submit any substantial claim. Instead, they have been only making false allegations and accusations on Dr. Mahtani to discredit him. It is hoped that the court will make right justice.  

Conspirators Have Started Taking Step Back With Simaata’s Sc Loss

The past few years have seen conspirators collaborating with other with similar intentions to attack honest businessmen like Dr. Rajan Mahtani. Previously, these attacks and conspiracies were made separately and as a result, the conspiracies faded quickly after being disbursed through various paid media channels. However, coordinated attacks cause the campaigns to penetrate deeper into the society and to its people, who are constantly exposed to negative news stories and campaigns, sometimes even believing in them. The allegations on Finance Bank Zambia were entirely false and baseless. However, when false news is spread again and again, people start believing in it and it becomes the truth.

The rumor was started by Simaata Simaata, a known critic of Dr. Rajan Mahtani. He started giving negative testimonials related to the bank at several law courts. These testimonials were taken seriously by court, resulting in unnecessary inquiries into the bank. When this news of inquiry went out, other conspirators took this opportunity to defame the bank even more. The defamation campaigns not only targeted the bank, but also started attacking Dr. Mahtani. As a result, finance bank quickly launched the case against Simaata at the Supreme Court Zambia.

The judges at the Supreme Court announced their verdict in the month of July 2017. As per their verdict, “All circumstances considered, we are satisfied that the respondent (Simataa) did in fact breach clause 5 of the Settlement Agreement.” Simaata was not only charged guilty, but was also asked to pay fine for trying to defame the reputation of an honest banking institution.  

Zambezi Portland Cement is just another medium

There is an alarming level of conspiracy that is being conducted within the four wall of the ZPC (Zambezi Portland Cement). The conspirators are basically trying everything in their hands as well as they are looking further more for supporting their ongoing defamation campaign. All these allegations and defamation campaigns are being carried out with only one objective, defaming Dr. Rajan Mahtani. Dr. Mahtani has been facing this wrongful defamation issue for quite some time and as a result, most of his associated firms are facing similar defamation threats. Even if a lie is told too many times, people start believing it as it were truth. This is the same thing happening with Dr. Mahtani and his companies now. All the more, given the range of resources the Ventriglias posses, it is very easy to see their mafia style operations.

Last month, Zambia Reports released an article wherein it claimed the success of Zambezi Portland Cement. The article was only aimed at defaming Dr. Rajan Mahtani. The attack was planned and intended to demonstrate Dr. Mahtani as a corrupt owner and businessman. The reality is that most of the people across Zambia are aware of the real situation. Dr. Mahtani devoted his entire life towards uplifting the society and he cannot go down the road of illegal and corrupt business ever.

The main objective of the conspirators now is finding a medium that will help them in curbing Dr. Rajan Mahtani’s popularity. This is the main reason for their constant blame game. Over the last few years, they have been constantly trying to prove that Zambezi Portland Cement was actually theirs and Dr. Mahtani illegally owned the factory by copying signatures and stealing 58 percent of factory’s stake. All the more, these same conspirators are constantly avoiding courts because of one simple fact; they have nothing to prove their claims.  

Conspiracy in PCZ (Portland Cement Zambia) continues

One of PCZ (Portland Cement Zambia)’s monitory shareholder ITL (Ital Terrazzo Limited) has continued to gain grounds. At the same time, Zambia reports are continuing to mislead the Zambians. At usual, Zambia Reports is trying hard to reach its multiple objectives, as directed by its masters. At the same time, it is trying to imprint the news on everyone that PCZ (Portland Cement Zambia) has been awarded as the ‘Best Employer’ award. Similarly, it has continued with its regular objective of defaming Dr. Rajan Mahtani, who is the EC (Executive Chairman) of the MGC (Mahtani Group of Companies). It is a clear case of wrongful defamation by playing cheap games and tricking the minds of Zambian people.

There has been a peculiar and shocking changing in the approach of the Zambia Reports. Earlier, they used to openly defame Dr. Mahtani by highlighting their claims, most of which were not worthy of even looking. Now-a-days they have resorted to indirect defamation strategy.

Furthermore, all these are happening right beneath the Zambian Government’s nose and they still choose to stay silent over it. Not a single intervention has been initiated by the government so far. This is the reason the conspirators are openly executing their plans without having the fear of legal troubles. Even though the constantly fail to show up at the court with required evidences, the government officials have done nothing to implicate them.  

Dr. Mahtani & Zambia need facts, not opinions.

Zambia & Dr. Rajan Mahtani have been going through some nasty defamation issues in last few years. The only reason for these cheap actions is PCZ (Portland Cement Zambia). The cement’s plant’s minority shareholders have are clearly out of their mind. The only thing they are doing now is looking means for ridiculing the citizens of Zambia. If a person or an institution wants to sort out issues in a legal and legit matter, they would first go to the judiciary and courts and work according to the law and right judgement. However, this does not apply for the Ventriglias family as their usual way of handling things. Instead, their usual way of dealing with these issues and disputes is implementing their mafia tactics.

All everyone in Zambia is now aware of the incidents that has been happening in the past 1.5 years within the PCZ (Portland CementZambia).

The range of incidents that has happened within Portland Cement Zambia in the past one and half years is known to all. Dr. Mahtani & Zambia are well aware of the fact that workers were dismissed from the factory and the assets of the factory are no longer under the possession of the factory itself. Instead, it has been leased out to companies which are indirectly controlled by the Ventriglia family. In order to curb the pressing issue, what the conspirators did is indeed shocking. They have once again used their paid media house, Zambia Reports, to brag about an award and then get back to basics- defaming Dr. Mahtani & Zambia.

Meanwhile, the Government of Zambia has refused to rescue the workers and the actual owners of the factory. They are simply being a witness to the whole incident while the Italian Mafias loot the factory and leave the economy of Ndola disturbed. Had there been an intervention, things would have been much different today. Businessmen, like Dr. Rajan Mahtani, would not have been troubled and ridiculed in public. The Portland Cement Zambia would have a better contribution rate towards the development of the economy and there would have been a better employment opportunity. Sadly, the current situation is reflecting the opposite situation.
